1,2-Propanediol (1,2-Propanediol) is a common organic solvent and is strictly prohibited in milk (raw, pasteurized, or sterilized). This kit uses a highly specific biocatalytic reaction coupled with a colorimetric reagent. Within a certain concentration range, the increase in absorbance at 450 nm is linearly proportional to the added 1,2-propanediol concentration, enabling quantitative detection of 1,2-propanediol.
